Main duties
* Manage portfolio of clients, meeting their requirements and maximising fee income.
* Manage the production of client’s personal tax computations.
* Plan, control, and review work carried out be team members to ensure work is completed within time frames and budget.
* Respond to tax queries from Partners/Directors/Managers.
* Carry out consultancy work when required.
* Attend client meetings where appropriate.
* Design and implement standard letters/systems to improve the efficiency of the Tax Department.
* Spot opportunities for relevant advisory work with existing clients.

* ICAS, ACA or CTA qualified – with Tax experience in practice
* Varied, practical and technical tax knowledge.
* Positive, enthusiastic approach
* Able to train junior members of staff.
* IT packages (Excel, tax software, Word).
* Communication skills.
* Organisational skills.
* Commercial awareness / client focus.
* Problem solving and decision making.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
