POSITION: Production Shift Supervisor – 2nd Shift (2:30PM – 11PM or close)
DEPARTMENT: Production

ABOUT NONNI’S
JOB OVERVIEW
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensure that the metal detector is verified every hour.
* Responsible ensuring that weights are checked at 15-minute intervals.
* Calculates and record averages of 5 weights.
* Maintains a running count of all packaging materials used during his/her shift. Special note is made of container integrity and the specified placement of code date or other labels or markings.
* Ensure that the packaging materials to be used for that day are correct.
* Must have the manual dexterity to manipulate boxes, bags and cases.
* Must be able to keep track of case and container counts.
* Must be able to lift 35 pounds to shoulder height on an intermittent basis.
* Must have manual dexterity and be able to remain standing for long periods of time.
* Must be able to fill in as necessary in other positions.
* Must be able to understand and proactively endorse GMP, HACCP, Allergen, SQF and other regulations.
* Must be able to work in a safe and sanitary manor.
* Maintain a clean work area.
* Additional responsibilities as required and assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
* This is a supervisory position. Responsible for supervising their shift.
Education and/or Experience
* High school diploma and demonstrated ability to perform this position.
Language/Communication Skills
* Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and informatively.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Fluency in Spanish is helpful, but not required
Mathematical Skills
* Ability to count, add, subtract multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations.
* Ability to establish a strong relationship with management and team.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Computer Skills
* Basic computer skills.
