Lead Training Needs Analyst - Army Collective Training
Permanent role - 37.5 hours a week
Warminster with some flexibility to work from home 1 or 2 days a week
up to £65,000 depending on skills and experience
Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at BPSS level.

As the Military Collective Training Lead Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of planning, executing, and evaluating large-scale training events. This is a leadership role where your analytical expertise and strategic thinking will guide the development of realistic training scenarios, ensure alignment with operational goals, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
You'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, influence training design, and lead the way in assessing performance using cutting-edge metrics and evaluation techniques. What you'll be doing
* Assess training needs by analysing mission tasks, readiness reports, and command guidance.
* Shape collective training plans by developing and refining objectives aligned with military doctrine.
* Coordinate with key stakeholders including exercise planners and unit leaders to ensure training meets operational goals.
* Lead a team of Analysts through a combination of strategic leadership, technical oversight, and collaborative engagement.
* Analyse performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
* Produce clear reports and recommendations for commanders and training staff, backed by accurate data.
* Maintain and manage training databases, ensuring insights are well-documented and accessible.
What we're looking for
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
* Familiarity with collective training environments (e.g., CTCs, MCTP, JRTC, NTC).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and training management systems (e.g., DTMS, JTIMS).
* Previous experience in team lead, supervisory or management roles
Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
* Prior military service or experience supporting military training programs.
* Experience with simulation systems (e.g., JCATS, WARSIM, VBS).
* Knowledge of Army/Joint training doctrine (e.g., FM 7-0, ADP 7-0).
