Purpose of the Role

The Senior Editor- Supply Chain is a brand owner and multi-platform editorial leader responsible for driving the quality, growth and commercial impact of BizClik’s Supply Chain portfolio.

You will lead content across:

* Digital platforms

* Print magazines

* Video and broadcast

* Podcasts and webinars

* Live events and stage content

* Commercial campaigns

You will own the editorial direction of the brand from front cover to final publication, ensuring consistent quality, industry credibility and audience engagement.

This role combines journalistic excellence, commercial awareness and brand leadership.


Key ResponsibilitiesBrand & Editorial Leadership
* Act as editorial lead and public face of the Supply Chain brand

* Own the editorial strategy, tone and positioning across all platforms

* Develop strong relationships with industry leaders, partners and clients

* Identify trends, themes and opportunities to strengthen brand authority

* Represent BizClik professionally within the sector

*
Magazine Ownership (Front to Back)
* Lead the planning, commissioning and production of magazine issues

* Own front cover strategy, including cover star selection and positioning

* Ensure high editorial quality and storytelling standards

* Manage layout collaboration with design teams

* Deliver issues on time and to commercial requirements


Full accountability for magazine delivery.

Digital & Web Content
* Produce daily high-quality web content aligned to SEO and audience strategy

* Maintain publishing calendar and content planning

* Monitor analytics and optimise performance

* Ensure consistent brand voice across digital platforms


Broadcast, Video & Live Content
* Develop and deliver content for:

o BizClik TV

o Interviews

o Podcasts

o Webinars

o Event stage sessions

* Work closely with events teams to shape compelling agendas and speaker narratives

* Prepare interview materials and scripts where required


Commercial Content & Client Campaigns
* Collaborate with Sales, Production and Marketing teams on client projects

* Deliver high-quality branded profiles, campaigns and thought leadership pieces

* Balance editorial credibility with commercial objectives

* Support revenue opportunities through editorial insight and creativity


Leadership & Team Contribution
* Support and mentor junior editorial staff where required

* Manage freelancers and contributors

* Maintain strong editorial processes and workflows

* Contribute ideas to improve editorial efficiency and innovation

* Act as a senior voice within the editorial team


KPIs & Performance Measures
* Minimum four web articles per day (two unique, two syndicated)

* One to two front-of-book magazine features per week

* Minimum one commercial profile or campaign per week

* Successful delivery of all magazine issues to deadline

* Strong collaboration with commercial teams

* Audience engagement and brand growth contribution

* Professional representation of the brand externally


Experience & Skills
* Proven experience in editorial, journalism or B2B publishing

* Experience leading or owning editorial projects or publications

* Strong interviewing and storytelling capability

* Commercial awareness and ability to work with clients

* Experience producing multi-platform content (digital, video, live or broadcast)

* Understanding of SEO and digital content strategy

* Strong organisational and project management skills


Technical tools may include:

* Google Workspace / Microsoft Office

* CMS platforms

* Monday.com or similar workflow tools

* Canva / design collaboration tools (desirable)
