We’re looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to work in our tool room on a 6-month temporary basis.
The role involves making jigs and fixtures, largely for CNC machines, using traditional manual mills and lathes. You’ll work from technical drawings, ensuring all components meet strict tolerances and quality standards.
Key Dutie as a Manual Machinist:
* Manufacture jigs and fixtures for CNC production
* Operate traditional manual milling machines and manual lathes
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
* Use precision measuring equipment to verify tolerances
* Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness
Requirements:
* Proven experience with manual lathes and milling machines
* Strong attention to detail and quality focus
* Ability to work independently in a tool room environment
