Location: Durness Primary School
Hours: 30 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term from 18 August 2025 until 02 July 2026
Salary: £18,809 - £20,603 (Unqualified), £20,893 - £22,880 (Qualified)
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Requirements
* Unqualified Early Years Practitioners will be required to work towards relevant awards within an agreed timescale and will be paid on grade HC0435.
* Qualified Early Years Practitioners should hold a recognized qualification in Childcare and Education (e.g., HNC, NNEB, SVQ 3) and will be paid on grade HC0535.
* The Early Years Practitioner must hold or be willing to obtain registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Upon employment, registration should be completed.
* If already registered and changing employer within Highland Council, inform the SSSC of any employment changes.
* Qualifications in Food Handling and First Aid are advantageous.
