This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll support the delivery of excellent food and service, ensure compliance with safety standards, and help drive innovation and growth across the catering operation.What you'll do:Lead and motivate the catering team to deliver great service and high-quality food at all times.Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety and company standards, achieving strong audit results.Support financial performance by managing stock, driving sales, and controlling costs.Work with the team to refresh and update the food offer, keeping it innovative and customer-focused.Walk the floor and lead by example, maintaining visibility during service periods.Coach, train, and develop staff, building a motivated and high-performing team.Support across multiple sites where needed to ensure consistency of service.Contribute to business planning, marketing initiatives, and continuous improvement.What you'll bring:Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.Excellent knowledge of food safety and health & safety standards.Commercial awareness with experience in managing stock, GP, and sales growth.Ability to be flexible — including covering night shifts when required.A proactive, hands-on approach and commitment to delivering high standards.A full driving licence and access to a car (mileage paid).Desirable experience:Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role.Experience working within a contract catering or multi-site environment.Knowledge of COSHH and audit compliance.Why Sodexo?:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.Belong in a company and team that values you for you.
