Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Derbyshire - travel to regional sites across the Midlands
Salary: Circa £50,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 48 hours per week | Permanent

A respected name in the heavy industry and construction materials sector is looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their regional maintenance team.
This is a hands-on, heavy-duty role maintaining large industrial plant and machinery across multiple Midlands sites. You'll work with high-load equipment, fault-finding and repairing electrical systems, and supporting preventative maintenance and improvement projects.
The Role
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults across plant machinery and equipment
Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
Support the development and implementation of maintenance systems and schedules
Respond quickly to breakdowns and unplanned shutdowns
Work closely with colleagues, contractors, and site teams to ensure safe operations
Travel to other regional sites as required (company van provided)About You
Qualification or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering
Background in heavy industry, plant, or construction materials
Confident fault finding and repair across large industrial machinery
Knowledge of LV electrical isolation and maintenance methods
Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations
Computer literate with a full UK driving licence
Medium/high-voltage or PLC knowledge advantageous
18th Edition certification or BS7671 experience desirableHow to Apply
