Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School KS2 Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young learners, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development. This role requires a commitment to educational excellence and the ability to engage students through innovative teaching methods.
Job Description:
1. Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of pupils during the school day.
2. Teach classes of pupils and ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs.
3. Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom.
4. Contribute to constructive team-working amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and governors.
5. Have a working knowledge of and fulfil the national conditions of employment for schoolteachers as set out in the current copy of the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document and the national standards for Qualified Teacher Status.
6. Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding children following school policy and procedure.
7. Contribute to a culture of vigilance ensuring a safe environment for children and adults.
Duties:
1. Implement agreed school policies and guidelines.
2. Support initiatives decided by the Headteacher and staff.
3. Plan appropriately to meet the needs of all pupils, through differentiation of tasks.
4. Set clear targets, based on prior attainment, for pupils’ learning.
5. Provide a stimulating classroom environment, where resources can be accessed appropriately by all pupils.
6. Keep appropriate and efficient records, in line with school procedures, integrating formative and summative assessment into weekly and termly planning.
7. Communicate effectively with parents and pupils through building effective, supportive relationships.
8. Report to parents on the development, progress and attainment of pupils.
9. Maintain behaviour through the use of positive strategies in line with school policies.
10. Participate fully in the performance management system for the appraisal of their own performance and development in line with school policy.
11. Communicate and co-operate with specialists from outside agencies.
12. Plan for, organise and direct the role of additional adults within the classroom.

Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Proven experience in teaching primary education.
Strong understanding of child development and learning methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt to diverse learning needs.
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
