Project/Programme Manager (Contract) | 6 months initial contract | Glasgow based - hybrid attendance Day Rate: 450-500 per day Role Overview Our Glasgow based client is seeking an experienced Project/Programme Manager on a contract basis to work closely with project teams and stakeholders to develop robust business cases. The role is ideal for someone who excels at shaping initiatives, producing evidence-based proposals, and ensuring business cases align with organisational strategy and investment priorities. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with project teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to create clear, compelling business cases. Conduct options appraisals, cost/benefit analysis, risk assessments, and benefits realisation planning. Ensure business cases are evidence-based and aligned with organisational strategy. Prepare supporting documentation for governance forums, steering committees, and executive decision-making. Influence senior stakeholders to secure approval and investment for proposed initiatives. Support benefits tracking and reporting frameworks once business cases are approved. Contribute to organisational investment planning and prioritisation. Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in developing and presenting business cases at senior/executive level. Experience working collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to shape proposals. Strong financial and commercial acumen, including cost, risk, and benefit assessment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to distil complex information into clear recommendations. Knowledge of project/programme management methodologies (PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, or equivalent). Desirable Skills & Experience Experience of business case development within complex or multi-stakeholder environments. Professional qualifications: PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, APM, or PMI. Understanding of change management approaches.
