Job Description
One of eighteen first‑class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. The club caters for a number of different events throughout the year ranging from corporate and private meetings to match days. With a variety of food and beverage outlets, it offers attendees a fun day out.
Duties
* Support the club's sales function and coordinate event planning from initial enquiry through to delivery.
* Coordinate key operational details and sales information to ensure the successful delivery of each event.
* Provide assistance to event attendees, including gathering all required information, communicating thoroughly, and paying keen attention to detail.
* Work collaboratively with other sales and event staff, following instructions and contributing to the overall success of the event.
* Perform assigned tasks effectively and efficiently, adhering to safety guidelines and event protocols.
* Be prepared to take on various roles or assist in different areas of event operations as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
* Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment to support event and sales operations.
* Reliable and punctual, arriving on time for assigned shifts.
* Capable of handling tasks that may involve heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
* Ability to work well as part of a team, following instructions and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
* Great communication skills to understand and carry out tasks and follow instructions from supervisors and clients.
* Willingness to take on various roles and responsibilities as needed during and prior to events.
* A customer‑friendly attitude and willingness to assist event attendees as required.
Knowledge & Competencies
* Good understanding and use of verbal English.
* Good standard of written English and reading skills.
* Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.
