Role Overview
As a Solution Architect we will lead the design and delivery of high‑value finance transformation initiatives, enabling the technologies and platforms that support our digital goals. You will build deep data capabilities, drive process and solution standardisation, and influence internal customers to adopt best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the architecture and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP Central Finance (CFIN) solutions.
* Design and deliver end‑to‑end SAP FICO integrations, including implementation of SAP MDG Finance master data management and non‑SAP tools such as Blackline.
* Own the planning, reporting, and analytics transformation programs, driving FP&A, planning, and reporting efficiencies.
* Manage system integrators and large‑scale transformation programs in a complex global environment.
* Influence senior leaders and drive organisational change with strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Balance strategic vision with practical delivery execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven SAP Finance experience within large enterprise environments.
* Full‑cycle SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation experience, including at least one end‑to‑end deployment.
* Hands‑on SAP FICO implementation (certified) and SAP Central Finance (CFIN) implementation experience.
* Experience leading FP&A, planning, reporting, and analytics transformation programs.
* Background in consulting or architecture with real‑world delivery experience in finance process areas.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with proven leadership in global, cross‑functional environments.
* Education: Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, MIS/IT, Mathematics, Chartered Accountancy, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
* Desired: TOGAF 9 certification, AI‑driven forecasting and analytics experience, Treasury & Risk Management expertise, and exposure to AI Agent architecture.
Preferred Industry Experience
* Energy, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, or Capital‑Intensive industries.
* Familiarity with Joint Venture Accounting, Hydrocarbon Revenue Accounting, Capital Project Accounting, Asset Lifecycle Management, Trading & Risk Management integration, and regulatory/sustainability reporting.
