About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Service Technician to join a growing service team. If you enjoy a variety of work, diagnosing and repairing machinery, and delivering excellent results to customers, this could be the perfect role for you.
You'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of professional and domestic grounds care machinery. You thrive on challenges, work efficiently, and are always keen to learn new skills and develop your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
: Service and repair Agricultural/ Farmmachinery from multiple manufacturers.
: Diagnose faults and provide accurate information to prepare repair quotes.
: Complete all necessary documentation for work assignments.
: Carry out diagnostics and repairs in the workshop and at customer sites.
: Perform pre:delivery setup for new or used equipment.
: Maintain a clean, organisedworkstation and ensure correct use of tools and vehicles.
: Participate in training and certification programs to continually develop skills.
: Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Essential:
: High level of mechanical competence and experience with turf or similar machinery.
: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
: Experience in maintenance and repair of equipment.
: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
: Good timekeeping and communication skills.
: Own tools and computer literacy; training on company systems provided.
: Previous experience with commercial, agricultural, or construction machinery.
Desirable:
: Professional qualification in grounds care or agricultural machinery maintenance.
: Forklift license.
