Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the resource strategy to ensure the successful delivery of the University Digital Strategic Plan
* Manage efficient and effective allocation of internal resources, supported by a network of delivery partners and suppliers
* Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to align staff with organisational strategy and priorities
* Apply specialist knowledge and experience to address short-term challenges while maintaining a long-term perspective
* Develop and implement a flexible and responsive resource model
* Ensure appropriate financial controls and identify and develop future skills

What We're Looking For
* Well-rounded knowledge and understanding of resource management, accompanied by extensive practical and/or managerial experience
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive and self-motivated approach
* Effectively manages team dynamics, creating an environment that engages and motivates others
* Provides expert advice, guidance and recommendations on complex issues
* Fosters and maintains working relationships within the department and wider University
* Uses persuasiveness and positively influences others to achieve outcomes
