Role Overview And Purpose. This is an important role as a public face of the Security Team. A can-do and professional attitude is essential in this highly influential role. You also need to ensure exemplary standards of Security and Customer Service are always provided to the client and visitors to the site.
Role Details
Location: X-Site, Renfrew.
Working hours: rotating 9 week rolling roster with other members of the security team, 40 hours per week.
Pay rate: £13.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
* Interact with visitors/tenants within the X-Site Braehead leisure facility, delivering first-class customer-focused service.
* Carry out regular patrols of the centre as detailed in the site assignment Instructions, being proactive.
* Look for opportunities to assist visitors and proactively help wherever opportunities arise.
* Safeguard the site to ensure a non-threatening environment for all visitors/tenants.
* Manage incidents in accordance with site policies and procedures.
* Liaise with site control room, proactively reacting to incidents and ensuring colleagues are briefed and supported.
* Report any unsecured areas to Control Room immediately and take action to resolve.
* Record/log non-conformances and emergencies with the appropriate control room operatives.
* Respond promptly to emergencies, keeping the Centre team informed.
* Understand human behaviour, monitor and report incidents in line with site and company policies; surveillance of suspicious individuals where relevant.
* Maintain vigilance and manage unauthorized access by banned individuals.
* Follow radio procedures at all times.
* Record all events and incidents in the Security Officer notebook in accordance with notebook policies.
* Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet business needs.
* Ensure timely response to all security issues and events.
* Complete all training requirements as requested by the line manager.
* Be available to cover at least one additional shift per month if requested to cover absence or annual leave.
* Liaise closely with the Environmental Services team to deliver one service and work as one team.
* Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous, and helpful at all times while carrying out duties to the highest standard.
Required Skills And Experience
* SIA Front Line or SIA Door Supervisor Licence is required. SIA CCTV Licence is desirable.
* Take ownership of situations to ensure tasks are completed or escalated when necessary.
* Stay motivated, aim high and achieve.
* Respect all staff and visitors within the centre.
