We're supporting a leading specialist civil engineering and reinforced concrete contractor with the appointment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team. The business delivers complex RC frame, groundworks and structural packages across high-profile projects in the South West. This role offers the opportunity to take commercial ownership of major packages on technically demanding schemes, working within a well-structured and experienced commercial function. The Role Reporting into a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the full commercial lifecycle of your project(s), from procurement through to final account. Key duties include: Managing subcontract procurement and package buy-out Administering contracts (NEC predominantly, JCT where applicable) Valuations, variations, change control and cost reporting Producing and managing CVRs and forecasts Leading subcontractor negotiations and final accounts Liaising closely with operational teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved You will have responsibility for significant project values and will play a key role in protecting margin and managing risk.
