An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Facilities Manager to support the delivery of Healthcare services by assisting in the day to day management of teams, resources and Operational processes working within a newly opened Community Diagnostic Unit.
The role will involve coordinating staff, monitoring performance and service standards, supporting patient - focused initiatives and ensuring compliance with NHS policies and Regulations. The Assistant Managers will work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to improve efficiency maintain high quality care and help achieve organisational objectives within the busy health care setting.
Main duties of the job
Communicates with a range of contacts, for example, Managers at all
levels, staff and, where appropriate, patients, visitors and other clients on
issues relating to the efficient functioning of the Facilities Teams.
Assist with allocation of pay and non pay costs to ensure control of
budget, e.g, rota planning, stock ordering and stock control.
To monitor service delivery through quality and performance indicators
and to proactively seek new ways of working to improve standards.
Produce reports and other documents as required including cleanliness
monitoring and sickness reports/records.
Provide service related advice, information or guidance to a range of
contacts, including internal & external customers.

Person specification
Knowledge, Training & Experience
Essential criteria
1. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
2. Maths and English at C or above or equivalent qualification/demonstrable experience.
3. Minimum of two years previous supervisory experience
4. Knowledge and experience of operational Facilities functions, e.g. cleaning/catering services
Desirable criteria
5. Experience of dealing with confidential information
