Assistant Program Manager – Residential Care

Responsibilities & Expectations
* Maintain integrity, commitment, responsibility, and attention to detail while managing daily program assignments and compliance with state licensing regulations.
* Work collaboratively with another Assistant Program Manager and the Program Manager in a team environment.
* Provide care and supervision for 12‑15 staff members, serving as a coach and mentor.
* Support management in programmatic, medical, financial, recreational, and facility needs.
* Adapt to a 24‑hour care schedule with on‑call rotation; utilize an electronic scheduling system for quick communication.
* Seek personal development, ask questions, and demonstrate flexibility and overtime availability.
Required Certifications
* State Medication Administration Certification
* First Aid for Accidents
* CPR – Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
* PMT – Physical Management Techniques
* Previous supervisory experience in human services, especially with ID/DD individuals
Schedule
This is an hourly role within a three‑person rotation, offering set shifts and real‑time scheduling via an electronic dashboard. Managers coordinate opens, swaps, and time‑off using the system.
