As one of our drivers you will be provided with vehicle movements for collection and delivery of a commercial vehicles from a multitude of locations for businesses retail customers.
Theres no loading/ unloading, no handball as you deliver trucks itself!
The role includes:
* Vehicle delivery direct to customer and to another depot
* Collecting vehicles from customer when coming off hire, or from another depot
* Taking a driver to collect a vehicle or picking a driver up who has made a delivery
* Accurate completion of all relevant paperwork
Work wear
You will need a PPE safety boots and high viz
* Dess code: dark cargo type trousers or black jeans, dark polo t-shirt, dark sweatshirt or jumper, coat.
You need to present:
* Valid drivers licence and a clean driving record with no traffic violations
* Valid CPC and Digi-Tacho cards
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions
This is a client facing position, you need to show good interpersonal skills
* The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
* No more than 6 points on your licence with no major endorsements (DR10, IN10, CU80, TT99, CD10)
About job:
* Work starts between 7 am and 7.30 am
* Work is temporary, ongoing, five days per week, Monday to Friday with overtime available
* Pay rate: £14.89
