Ecommerce Merchandiser Permanent Location: London (4 days onsite) Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 ( benefits) We are looking to recruit an Ecommerce Merchandiser for a leading online retailer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in ecommerce merchandising or online trading who enjoys using data to influence commercial decisions and optimise online sales performance. Working within the merchandising team, you will analyse deal and product performance to identify opportunities to improve sales and customer engagement. You will use data from previous campaigns and offers to understand what sells well, how deals should be priced, and how they should be presented on the website. You will work closely with sales teams to ensure offers are promoted effectively and aligned with customer demand. This role requires someone who can interpret data quickly, communicate insights clearly and operate comfortably in a busy ecommerce environment. This role would particularly suit someone currently working as an Assistant Merchandiser, Junior Merchandiser, Ecommerce Trading Assistant or Ecommerce Analyst looking to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities Analyse deal and product performance to identify opportunities to increase sales Use Excel and ecommerce data to understand customer behaviour and conversion trends Recommend pricing, positioning and promotional strategies for online offers Work closely with sales teams to optimise how deals are presented on the website Monitor onsite performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion Identify product and category opportunities based on market demand and trends Provide insight and reporting to support growth within the Ireland market Skills & Experience Previous experience in ecommerce merchandising, trading or online retail Strong Excel skills and ability to interpret sales or ecommerce data Commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into actions Experience analysing online performance and making recommendations Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Experience with tools such as SQL or Power BI would be beneficial but is not essential.
