Internal Communications Assistant – 21 hours

We are looking for an Internal Communications Assistant to join our small, collaborative Internal Communications team at BPAS. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support teams across our 1,000‑strong workforce, from clinic staff to home‑based employees, by coordinating content across a range of internal channels.
Main duties of the job
* Support the creation and publishing of content across internal channels, including the intranet and staff app
* Manage the Internal Communications inbox, responding to and escalating queries where appropriate
* Maintain and update the Internal Communications Planner
* Provide administrative and logistical support for campaigns, announcements, and projects
* Assist with the organisation of virtual and in‑person staff events
* Support staff engagement activities such as awareness days and pulse surveys
* Provide diary management and meeting coordination support for the Internal Communications team
About you
You are organised, reliable, and proactive, with strong administrative and coordination skills. You manage multiple tasks and deadlines, communicate confidently with colleagues at all levels, and have a keen eye for detail when preparing and reviewing content.
Experience
* Experience in an administrative or coordination role
* Experience managing shared inboxes, scheduling, or diary coordination
* Experience supporting events or logistics (e.g., booking rooms, organising materials)
* Experience supporting internal communications, engagement activity, or digital content
* Experience using staff apps
* Experience using simple design tools such as Canva
* Experience using SharePoint and modifying intranet sites
Qualifications
* Minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths

Location, hours, and salary
Hybrid working between home and the BPAS Head Office in Leamington Spa. Weekly travel to the Head Office is not reimbursed; occasional travel to London Office and other BPAS units may be required for events.
Hours per week: 21 hours, Tuesday to Friday. Typical days and times:
* Tuesday 09:00 – 14:30
* Thursday 09:00 – 14:00
* Friday 09:00 – 14:00
Salary: £25,799 – £29,124 per annum, pro‑rata, depending on skills and experience.
