Role overview:
Responsible for ensuring the team supports the achievement of the required SLA’sthrough the effective management of direct reports; accountable for maintainingbest standards and Health and Safety practices and promoting a supportive & engaged working environment.
Responsibilities:
· To be responsible forthe overall control of the workflow and organisation of the team to ensure that the standards of performance, attendance, qualityand conduct are met.
· To influence the team to achieve the required SLA’s internet & retail fulfilment, H&S targets & people team deadlines et al
· To look to continuously improve processes to gain maximum efficiencies and a high levelof customer service
· To provide management information & performance updates at key points throughout the day/week
· To ensure that the team are fully engaged & understand the business and departmental objectives
· To provide support and coaching for team members to develop the team and enable pro-active succession plans
· To train/develop the team in line with the site compliance and development structures
· To undertake any special improvement projects and provide all statistics and reports as required
Skills and Experience:
· Able to demonstrate building, developingand managing an effective team
· Ability to prioritise work efficiently, to set and achieve measurable targets and work within set plans
· Basic computer literacy skills
· Able to clearly communicate positively at all levels, both verbally and written
· Able to problem solve and innovate
