About The Mid-Markets Team
The Mid-Markets team serves privately owned businesses in the UK, working with over 13,000 clients. You will be part of a dynamic team whose client base ranges from entrepreneurial startups to multi-million pound turnover international groups.
Role and responsibilities
As a graduate trainee on a three-year training contract, you will:
* Master the art of auditing: prepare audit documents using the latest software and methodologies.
* Develop an understanding of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows).
* Work directly with a diverse client base to understand their operations and challenges.
* Build relationships with clients and within the team across service lines.
* Take on increasingly complex audit work in Years 2 and 3, including revenue recognition, valuation, and risk assessments;
* Lead audit engagements and mentor junior team members; pursue permanent employment with Forvis Mazars.

Fully funded professional qualification for this role: ACA. We provide coaching, mentorship, study time, and a blended training approach with in-person and virtual learning. You will be allocated a buddy to help you settle in during your first year.
