We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bank Courier Driver to join our team based in Norfolk and Waveney (Kings Lynn Area) due to continued growth. The position offers flexibility to work when convenient to your circumstances.
The main purpose of the courier driver role is to contribute to the safe and timely movement and transportation of diagnostic samples, goods, and equipment. The role requires excellent communication skills with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to maintain high standards. You will record tasks and items delivered and collected using electronic and paper-based forms, ensuring all courier tasks are completed correctly and on schedule.
The role may involve heavy lifting/manual handling of equipment and goods, using a tail lift, and loading/unloading of roll cages. You will be driving vehicles ranging from small vans to up to 3.5-tonne Luton vans, which can be driven on a category B UK driving licence. Working hours are typically between 07:00 and 18:00.

Additional duties include:
* Carrying out courier journeys to various locations
* Completing digital and manual documentation
* Maintaining contact with the operations office
* Ensuring items are kept safe and secure
* Complying with the Road Traffic Act and relevant legislation
* Acting as customer contact at delivery points
* Performing vehicle checks and reporting defects
Requirements:
* A full UK Manual Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with using a PDA (training provided)
* Effective route planning skills
* Strong communication skills
* Customer-focused attitude
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Good problem-solving, literacy, and numeracy skills
* Attention to detail and clear handwriting
* Knowledge of local areas
