Contract: Full Time
Salary: From £13.75 depending on experience (AWR will be addressed after 12 working weeks)

About the Role:
A Bolton primary school is seeking a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with a young child who has additional needs and displays challenging behaviour. The role involves delivering tailored support, applying behaviour management techniques, and encouraging positive engagement with learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Offer 1:1 support for a child with SEN and behavioural challenges.
* Apply personalised learning and behaviour management strategies.
* Work alongside the class teacher to foster an inclusive classroom environment.
* Help the child build social and emotional development skills.
* Establish a positive, trusting relationship with the pupil.
Requirements:
✅ A current, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
✅ Effective behaviour management abilities with a calm and patient demeanour.
✅ A strong passion for helping children with additional needs thrive.
✅ Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
