Service Manager – Children’s Residential Services Midlands Region | Up to £60,000 Car Allowance Bonuses We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to oversee a cluster of children’s residential homes across the Midlands. This is a key leadership role within a growing organisation dedicated to providing high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people. You’ll lead and support Registered Managers, drive quality improvements, and ensure compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards. Regular travel between homes and the central office will be required; a full UK driving licence is essential. Package and Benefits Salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience) £6,000 car allowance and/or company fuel card Monthly performance-related bonus Enhanced annual leave entitlement (increasing with service) NEST pension scheme Employee Assistance Programme Requirements Minimum 4 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting (within the last 7 years) At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role Experience supporting young people with emotional, behavioural, or neurodiverse needs Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards it) Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations across multiple homes Lead, mentor, and develop Home Managers and senior teams Conduct audits and drive quality improvement plans Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead Maintain regulatory compliance and support Ofsted standards All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS and reference checks in line with safer recruitment practices.
