Job Title: Payroll Specialist (12-Month Maternity Cover)
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team for a 12-month maternity cover in Stoneywood, Aberdeen. This role is with a global oil & gas company and involves working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
1. Execute multiple payroll processes for UK employees.
2. Develop a comprehensive understanding of payroll & benefits systems, processes, and legislative regulations.
3. Manage payroll output, including ad hoc payments, deductions, and master data validation in systems like Workday, HRX, and SAP.
4. Process new hires and leavers, and validate payroll benefits changes.
5. Participate in internal and external payroll and benefits audits, and prepare reports and statistics.
6. Report to the UK Payroll Manager based in Aberdeen.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in UK payroll processing.
* Good knowledge of UK HMRC legislation.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
* Experience with automated payroll systems, especially SAP & Workday.
* Excellent organizational skills.
