The role:
1. As Buying Manager you will develop and lead a small team to manage the sourcing strategy for a key range of food own brand products working with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers.
2. The Buying Manager will lead, develop and support a small team of buyers to negotiate cost price increases and to develop and implement a plan to reduce cost of good to ensure margin targets are achieved.
3. In the role the Buying Manager will work collaboratively with suppliers on range and NPD opportunities ensuring that sustainable sources of supply are always achieved.
