As an Editorial Planning Lead, you'll own Sky's master content calendar and brand storytelling strategy-bringing together voices from across the business to deliver consistent, always-on narratives at the moments that matter most. You'll shape editorial direction, spot cultural opportunities, and turn insight into impact through smart planning, amplification, and performance-led optimisation.
What you'll do: Lead annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly editorial planning, maintaining content grids, spotting gaps, and unlocking new storytelling opportunities.
Own and deliver the Corporate Affairs master content calendar, collaborating with all vertical teams to drive always-on, brand-led storytelling.
Identify and activate key cultural moments throughout the year, aligning Sky's participation across all verticals and channels.
Oversee publishing, community management, and paid amplification opportunities, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and performance levers.
Drive measurement, reporting, and optimisation, partnering with Influencer CoE teams and managing a reactive content budget to fuel growth and learning.
What you'll bring: Proven experience leading multichannel content and editorial strategies within entertainment, media, or brand environments, navigating complex stakeholder landscapes with confidence.
Deep understanding of digital platforms, content formats, and audience behaviours, across internal and external channels including social and influencer ecosystems.
Strong audience-first and strategic mindset, with the ability to design and deliver editorial strategies that consistently engage diverse audiences.
Confident people leadership paired with data-driven thinking, using insights to guide content output, performance, and continuous improvement.
Curiosity and appetite for experimentation, with working knowledge of internal communications, website management, SEO, AI, and a passion for testing, learning, and innovation (T&L).
