Reed has partnered with a family owned manufacturing site who are going through sustained growth. They are looking to expand their engineering team and are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to help ensure production equipment runs efficiently, reliably, and safely.

Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair production and process equipment across multiple sites.
* Carry out both electrical and mechanical maintenance, including wiring, fault finding, component replacement, and system repairs.
* Work with a wide range of equipment and components such as PLCs, inverters, heating elements, servo motors, contactors, overloads, and various sensors (inductive, reed, proximity, etc.).
* Conduct mechanical repairs on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, shafts, tensioners, bearings, and associated machinery.
* Maintain and support equipment including high-speed packing lines, fillers, pasteurisers, printers, case/boxing machines, and inspection systems.
* Accurately record breakdowns, maintenance activities, and corrective actions.
* Deliver and continuously improve planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and support OEE targets.
* Contribute to engineering improvement projects and ongoing performance enhancements.
What You'll Need
* Strong electrical maintenance background is essential.
* Working knowledge of PLC-controlled systems and automated production equipment.
* Mechanical experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and similar machinery.
* Confident IT and documentation skills.
* Experience in FMCG or food & beverage manufacturing is preferred. xxuwjjq
