Job Description
3. Prepare and manage financial statements, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
4. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
5. Monitor and report on financial performance, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
6. Work closely with external auditors and ensure audit readiness at all times.
7. Maintain and improve financial controls and processes within the organisation.
8. Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for various departments.
9. Support the wider accounting & finance team in ad hoc financial projects and reporting requirements.
10. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
12. Proven expertise in financial reporting and compliance within a relevant industry.
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
15. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
16. A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
17. Experience in the technology & telecoms sector is desirable but not essential.
