Job Opportunity: Electronics Technician (PAYE Contract)
Location: Titchfield
Contract: PAYE Contract, initially until December 2025, with the potential for extension
Working Hours:
Core Hours: 37 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:15pm
Friday: 7:30am - 11:30am
Holiday: 33 days paid holiday
Pay Rates:First 12 weeks rates:
Core days £18.09p/h PAYE Or £20.72 including holiday pay
Overtime over 37hrs £27.13p/h PAYE Or £31.07 including holiday pay
Sundays £36.17 PAYE Or £41.43 including holiday pay
After 12 weeks rates:
Core days £18.65p/h PAYE Or £21.35 including holiday pay
Overtime over 37hrs £27.95p/h PAYE Or £32.02 including holiday pay
Sundays £37.27 PAYE Or £42.69 including holiday pay
Role Responsibilities
Assembly: Assemble electrical and electronic units per specifications.
Soldering: Perform precise soldering to required standards.
Circuitry: Demonstrate a solid understanding of circuit boards and electronic components.
Documentation: Read, interpret, and work from manufacturing instructions, layouts, and drawings.
Records Maintenance: Complete and maintain all relevant manufacturing and electrical records.
Environment: Maintain a clean and organized workspace in line with quality and safety standards.
Training: Instruct and train other team members as needed.
Safety Compliance: Follow safe working practices and comply with site regulations.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with engineers and team members to enhance quality, reduce costs, and meet delivery targets.
Required Experience and Skills
Technical Knowledge: Strong background in electrical/electronic systems.
Aerospace Experience: Experience with testing and technical work in an aerospace environment.
Soldering Skills: Proficient in soldering and electronic assembly.
ESD Practices: Experience working in an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) environment is preferred.
Preferred qualifications
City and Guilds or National Certificate in an Engineering discipline
BTEC Level 2/3 in Engineering or equivalent qualification/experienceCandidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK adhering to ITAR restrictions
