Job Purpose:
The Outfitting Apprentice will learn general outfitting tasks, including working on sub-assemblies and components, fitting them to the boat, dress beading joints, and bolting parts together.
Objectives:

o Ability to learn how to work with aluminium/stainless, specifically to cut, bend or shape
* Able to learn how to use basic hand tools and machinery
* Able to learn how to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Able to learn how to apply sealant beads concisely
* Assist in the design of small brackets
* To undertake any other projects or tasks that are assigned to you
* To learn the importance weight constraints when providing fitting solutionsAny other ad hoc tasks that are required

o Able to work on own initiative within the remit of the role
* Flexible approach to work
* To learn and understand how to work to the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act
* Be willing to make an active contribution to continuous improvement
* To be able to work to a high standard
