Job Description
As Head of Legal:
1. Varied role, hands-on working directly with the asset management team on transactions, providing counsel to the senior leadership team and designing, building and managing a legal and compliance function from the ground up.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
3. Provide legal guidance on regulatory compliance matters within the banking and financial services department.
4. Review and update compliance policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure they are updated in line with new regulations.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the senior leadership team to ensure alignment with legal and compliance standards, providing varied legal counsel.
6. Oversee outside counsel.
