We are looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver with a HIAB licence to join our growing team. We are a family owned business and pride ourselves on the quality of our product and aim to achieve customer satisfaction on every delivery.
We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for customer service and quality. Good communication skills, geographical knowledge of the South Wales area and a minimum of 6 months experience as a tipper driver is essential. Experience within the industry is desirable but not essential. Driver CPC qualification, LGV Class 2 and HIAB licence is needed. (Please don't apply if you don't' hold a valid Hiab licence with grab)
General duties
* Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, reporting any faults or issues to the Transport Manager or the Workshop Manager.
* Making on time deliveries to a variety of locations as directed by the transport manager.
* Be able to follow company procedures.
* Liaise with transport manager regarding progress and delays.
* To act as Company ambassador when dealing with customers and members of the public, including responding a courteous and respectful manner to any complaints in relation to schedules, and levels and quality of service
* Good time management skills Undertake additional duties as required, commensurate with the level of the job.
