What you’ll be doing Develop & evolve Transmission major project plans through the Delivery lifecycle by interfacing with relevant business experts, obtaining the task detail required to provide adequate project scheduling information - allowing project performance to be monitored against agreed project control measures (KPIs). Update project plans at a pre-determined frequency (usually monthly), obtaining the relevant inputs through collaboration with other Project Team Members. Produce portfolio level monthly reports based upon the most up-to-date Project Plan KPIs to inform & assist the portfolio level management decision making process - informing of project performance. Analyse internal departmental schedules & external contractor project plans as required; ensuring and advising the Project Team of their suitability and any actions required to meet the overall project plan control & schedule targets. Attend internal and external meetings as required, providing planning advice, reports, KPIs and programme views to assist Project Team decision making. Comply with the relevant Quality Management System and support any process improvement initiatives. Deliver any development actions as defined in PDP. What you’ll bring HNC in Engineering/Mathematical discipline or previous experience in scheduling/programming/ planning projects and a portfolio of works. Knowledge of scheduling using industry standard software such as Primavera and MS Project. Proven ability to work in a team environment. Good spoken & written communication skills. Experienced in report writing. Experienced in the use of MS Office tools: Excel, Word, Access, etc. Appreciation of quality assurance processes.
