What you'll be responsible for
As a Catering Assistant, you will be required to:
* Work to appropriate procedures to ensure the safety of all persons on site.
* Daily reconciliation of income with till receipts.
* Serve food and beverages to customers.
* Ensuring tables are clean and available for customers to use.
* General cleaning duties with the kitchen and storage areas.
* Cooking for colleagues an serving hot meals during breakfast and lunch time hours.
About you
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills
* Ideally Level 2 Food Hygiene
* Catering / Retail experience
* Practical Health & Safety experience
* Retail customer service knowledge or specialism
* Working with the general public
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to communicate effectively in English
* Commercial awareness
* Numeracy / till operating skills
Good to know
* 3-days / week contract (to include weekend shifts)
* Working across a Monday - Sunday rota with possible hours between 8.30am - 6.00pm (to cover an 8-hour working day)
* Weekends and school holidays are our busiest times where more hours will be available
* Must be able to work weekends and school holiday periods
