Due to expansion, additional Claims Negotiators are required by the motor claims team. This is an autonomous role, where you’ll manage your own portfolio of motor claims which will may include claims involving; Accidental Damage, Third Party Property Damage, Credit Hire, Personal Injury, Fire and Theft. You will take ownership of end to end handling of straight forward work within agreed service, quality and cost control standards.
What does the Motor Claim Negotiator’s day to day responsibilities include?
1. First point of contact for customers & brokers resolving issues and managing claim enquiries.
2. Investigate, negotiate and settle allocated claims in accordance with guidelines to ensure brokers & customers receive a fair settlement of their claim
3. Manage and identity recoveries s in respect of allocated claims
4. Support more junior members of the team, handle any specialist or technical issues which may arise
5. Maintain a record of outstanding allocated claim estimates
What skills & experience does the Motor Claim Negotiator need?
6. Previous Experience of Motor Claims
7. Proven history of providing excellent customer service
8. Solid Education at GCSE Level including Maths and English
