Job Introduction

Are you a passionate and dedicated physiotherapist looking for a varied and engaging role?

Join our team as a Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist and provide expert physiotherapy assessments and treatments across diverse clinical settings on a six-monthly rotational basis. With rotations including MSK outpatient clinics, community Re-Ablement teams, in-patient community hospitals, Complex Needs, Community Neuro and Stroke Services, and Community Paediatrics, you'll have the opportunity to build a broad skill set while empowering patients to achieve their full potential. Some rotations also include placements at The Royal United Hospital, Bath, and within the Wiltshire Community Paediatric service.

This is a permanent full time position based in the community, offering a fantastic opportunity to develop professionally in a supportive environment.

A valid UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role.

Main Responsibility


* Manage a patient caseload, ensuring high standards of care and minimising clinical risk.
* Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments, plan and implement treatments, and evaluate outcomes.
* Communicate effectively with patients, carers, colleagues, and other agencies to achieve goals and ensure confidentiality.
* Adhere to clinical guidelines, CSP standards, and participate in collating CQC standards.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records electronically.
* Maintain professional competency through CPD activities and personal development.
* Supervise and train staff and physiotherapy students with senior oversight.

The Ideal Candidate

* Holds a professional physiotherapist qualification and is registered with the HCPC.
* Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
* Maintains a portfolio with evidence of CPD.
* Demonstrates effective experience in rehabilitation across MSK, Neurology, Elderly Care, and ideally Respiratory, from student placements or recent junior physiotherapist roles.
* Skilled in respiratory practice with the ability to assess, examine, and treat patients with diverse and complex presentations.
* Able to manage a specialist caseload efficiently, prioritising clinical needs and time management.
* Formulates and delivers evidence-based treatment programmes using advanced assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
* Hold a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
