What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Maintenance Technical Planner, you'll play a crucial role in supporting efficient operations by translating approved work orders into fully scoped and scheduled work packages. You will:
* Develop comprehensive job plans including resource, material, and access requirements
* Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and assist in permit-to-work processes
* Produce method statements and draft risk assessments
* Manage planning databases and prepare cost estimates and purchase requisitions
* Provide short-term cover for other Technical Planners as needed
* Contribute to the implementation of SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) and Quality policies
What We’re Looking For:
We’re after someone who brings a mix of technical skill, planning experience, and a hands-on, team-oriented approach.
Essential:
* HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline
* Demonstrable experience in maintenance/project planning and scheduling
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible mindset
* A track record of continuous improvement within your technical discipline
Preferred:
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
* SAP experience (desirable, not essential)
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:00
* Friday: 07:45 – 12:00 (subject to change)
* Overtime may be required based on business needs
