About Our Client
The client are a global leader in the life sciences and pharmaceuticals industries and due to an internal promotion, are looking for someone to join the team as an Associate Pricing BP. They will be reporting directly into the Head of Pricing and will be working very closely with various other departments, acting as a business partner (main POC) between them and the Pricing department. There is a wealth of growth in the business on offer as well (both vertically and horizontally), and you will be joining a dynamic and exciting team at the heart of the company.
Job Description
The successful Associate Pricing Business Partner will:
Business partnering
· Own and drive tactical and strategic pricing projects in cross-functional working groups to operational efficiency and value creation
· Partner and work with stakeholders across all levels of seniority on pricing projects and initiatives
· Prepare pricing analyses and proposals to support commercial team on business development
· Develop a strong understanding of how the business units work and champion the role that group pricing plays within their processes (including pricing tools and systems)
Pricing review processes
· Own the pricing review process for the business unit, from creation of analysis, leading conversations with stakeholders, and ensuring implementation of new pricing into systems.
· Undertake analysis across product ranges, customers, and regions to identify opportunities and challenges for consideration by the business.
· Contribute thought leadership that supports with strategic decision making
· Own the development of improvements and efficiencies for the process, collaborating across the group pricing function to scale these to maximise impact.
Price analytics
· Oversee the creation, delivery and impact of regular price reporting, driving quality and efficiency improvements.
· Work with senior stakeholders to develop their understanding of the impact of pricing decisions.
· Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking in collaboration with Finance and Commercial teams
· Support the Head of Pricing with the evolution of pricing data and analytical capabilities and tools to drive efficiency and speed of decision making across the organization.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Associate Pricing Business Partner will:
* MUST have approximately 3 years of experience in a Pricing role
* MUST have prior experience cross-functional stakeholder management experience
* Advanced Excel skills (modelling, handling big data sets, pivot tables, v-lookups etc.)
* Prior experience within a B2B or life sciences industry role (desirable, not essential)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Eager to grow and progress through the company
