Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Brand Specialist to represent BBC ICECREAM within Selfridges. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales performance, and ensure the brand is represented to the highest standard. This role requires a balance of strong retail expertise, proactive customer engagement, and the ability to support Selfridges teams with brand knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
* Act as a Brand Specialist for BBC ICECREAM at Selfridges Oxford Street
* Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction·
* Present weekly trade reports to head office highlighting performance and opportunities.
* Maintain in depth knowledge of all products offered, highlighting options and cross selling opportunities.
* Assess customer needs, provide assistance, and recommend products with confidence.
* Achieve monthly sales targets.
* Create and manage a client book, building long term customer relationships.
Store and Office Operations
* Support Selfridges team internal processes, including stock takes and seasonal sale prep
* Take ownership of all BBC ICECREAM stock, flagging any problems to the sales and logistics team.
* Handle returns and resolve customer concerns
* Ensure all brand spaces are fully merchandised, replenished, clean, and aligned with BBC ICECREAM brand standards
* Lead on brand training sessions for Selfridges team members across all stores
* Coordinate brand activations, pop ups, and in store events with BBC and Selfridges team
Skills and requirements
* Minimum 2 year’s retail experience, preferably within luxury fashion or streetwear.
* Passion for the BBC ICECREAM brand and strong interest in luxury streetwear culture.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Strong eye for detail, with proactive and solution driven thinking.
* Excellent spoken English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Exceptional time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
* Collaborative mindset and proven ability to work effectively within a team.
This is a Full-Time position with potential travel to London Head office and Regional Selfridges stores.
