Nursery Teaching Assistant
Location: CF24
Pay: £92.50 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start Date: After Easter
Contract: Long-term role through Teaching Personnel
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the CF24 area after Easter. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive Early Years setting, helping to shape children’s first experiences of education.
The school is looking for someone with strong EYFS or general childcare experience. Whether your background is in a nursery, as a teaching assistant, sports coaching, or professional babysitting, we would love to hear from you.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience working within EYFS or a childcare setting
* Experience delivering or supporting interventions
* A relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential)
* Proactive, energetic and hands-on approach
* A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development
* Eager to learn and develop within a school environment
Daily Responsibilities:
* Supporting the class teacher with the setup and delivery of activities
* Working with small groups to support learning and development
* Delivering targeted intervention sessions
* Encouraging interactive and creative play
* Supporting children’s social, emotional and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
