About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader / Senior Support Worker to join our childrens residential home, supporting young people with emotional, behavioural, and complex needs. This is a key leadership role where you will lead shifts, support staff development and ensure high quality, child centred care in line with regulatory standards and the homes values.
Key Responsibilities Lead shifts and act as a role model for Support Workers
Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
Ensure children receive safe, consistent and nurturing care
Implement care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports and reviews
Support, mentor and supervise staff on shift
Promote safeguarding, equality, and positive outcomes for children
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
