Job Title: Nutanix Infrastructure Engineer / Nutanix Specialist
Contract: 6 months
Day Rate: £500 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: 1 day a month - London
Start Date: ASAP
I'm currently partnering with an MSP in Central London, who has multiple exciting projects, that involve the use of Nutanix. Based on Liverpool Street, they require someone in the office once a month.
What You’ll Do:
* Design, deploy, and manage Nutanix HCI environments
* Maintain and optimize virtualized infrastructure (AHV, VMware, or Hyper-V)
* Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity
* Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement solutions
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and cloud initiatives
* Ensure security, backup, and disaster recovery best practices
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience with Nutanix platforms (AOS, Prism, AHV)
* Strong understanding of virtualization and storage technologies
* Experience with networking concepts (VLANs, firewalls, load balancing)
* Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
Nice to Have:
* Nutanix certifications (NCP, NCM, etc.)
* Experience with hybrid/cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Knowledge of backup and DR solutions
