The main responsibility will be to supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff. Verulam Cover Supervisors deliver pre-prepared lessons when teachers are absent. A good level of education, preferably to degree standard is advantageous, or a track record of working with young people in educational or sporting settings. A full induction/training and support programme is provided. This post would be particularly suitable for a recent graduate or someone wishing to gain experience prior to training as a teacher.
