Job Title: Electronics Engineer / Auto Electrician / Marine Installer

Pay range: Between £25,500- £40’000 per annum dependent on experience
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am- 5pm
Overtime: x 1.5 of hourly pay rate.
Benefits: 28 days holiday, 10 of these days are to be kept for two week closure over the Christmas period, power tools & work wear, plus more. Overtime available over the busy season. Workplace pension scheme in place.

A busy Scottish based Leisure Marine Company has an immediate requirement for a Marine Electrical / Electronics installation engineer
You will have experience in installing, commissioning, fault finding with brands and systems such as Raymarine, Garmin, Navico, Victron, Mastervolt, Side Power, Icom, Fusion,” to name a few “ on equipment such as Radar, Plotter, AIS, auto pilots. VHF, alternators, battery chargers, inverters and have a good understanding of 12 and 24V DC along with 240v AC systems onboard. You will have experience working with Marine leisure crafts.
Typical tasks include
· Installation of electrical systems equipment
· Fault finding on AC or DC systems
· Installation of navigation systems
· Fault finding of navigation systems
· Installing generators/batteries/chargers/ inverters and associated monitoring equipment
· Engine room electrical fit outs
· Knowledge of IT systems
· Knowledge of computer systems
Minimum Requirements:
· Experience working with Marine leisure craft from around 15’-65’
· Able to work with all leading marine equipment manufacturers.
· Marine Electrical Engineering Qualification or time served apprenticeship with hands on experience.
· Able to read electrical schematics at a basic level
· Keen to work in a fast paced environment.

· An ability to work on your own or as part of our team with an understanding of working to deadlines is essential
