Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Lead to support a well regarded business in Surrey, to support the finance team during a period of transition and change. This role will be critical in driving financial planning, analysis, budgeting & forecasting and process improvement. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to provide insightful financial guidance to senior stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
* Identify areas for process and reporting improvement, and implement best-in-class FP&A practices.
* Provide accurate and timely financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
* Develop and maintain robust financial models to assess business performance and scenario planning.
* Partner with senior leadership and department heads to provide insight and challenge on performance, risks, and opportunities.
* Deliver high-quality monthly management reports, variance analysis, and KPIs.
* Own cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis.
* Liaise with external stakeholders as required (e.g., auditors, consultants).
Key Requirements:
* Qualified accountant ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
* Proven experience in a senior FP&A or finance business partnering role.
* Strong technical and commercial financial analysis skills.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Available immediately or at short notice.
