Applications are invited to join the MLTC team as a Band 5 Care Group Support Officer within the Medicine directorate. This opportunity offers a variety of roles within service management, including:
* DM01, 18 Week RTT (ensuring compliance with local and national targets)
* Demand and capacity management
* Communication networking
* Managing patient pathways
* Procedural management
* Clinic configuration
* Staff management
As part of the Care Group management team, you will need to work flexibly to meet service demands and collaborate effectively with both clinical and non-clinical personnel.
Previous experience in service management is essential, along with a calm and confident approach in a sometimes demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Care Group Management by inputting and extracting data to develop dashboards, reports, and updates related to the 18-week RTT
* Monitor the Care Group PTL daily
* Oversee booking rules for outpatient sessions and ensure optimal capacity utilization
* Develop relationships with the access team to support patient pathways within waiting time targets
* Interpret PTL data, identify data quality and capacity issues
* Collaborate with clinicians to develop actions addressing RTT risks
* Assist in developing capacity and demand models for clinical specialties
* Support service reviews and redesign efforts
