Job Description
You will be involved in the build of support structures used in Shiprepair/ShipbuildingAn in house weld test will be required before joining the contract which will be a 3G single prep run fillet weld at 45 degrees on 25ml carbon plate.Key Responsibilities:Perform Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) to a high standardEnsure all welding operations meet the specified quality and safety standardsRead and interpret technical drawings accuratelyWork effectively within a team to achieve project deadlinesConduct regular maintenance checks on welding equipmentJob Requirements:Proven experience in Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW)Strong technical knowledge of welding processes and standardsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsCommitment to maintaining high safety standardsExcellent teamwork and communication skillsAttention to detail and precision in welding tasksContract Details:£22/h PAYE plus £2.66/h holiday pay or £29.46/h Umb coInitial contract until September with good chance of extensions to the end of the yearStandard 39 hours with potential of Overtime (up to 46 hours)If you are a skilled FCAW Welder looking for a new contract opportunity in the engineering sector, we want to hear from you!TPBN1_UKTJ
